We have
always been ready to accept suggestions for improving the Service and are
pleased to put in place Mr. Prydderch's request that we identify NEW stock.
New
estates are JBY, LIS, RIS, STK with a few additions to
TAY.
PLEASE READ the
following carefully before proceeding to click on the
relevant button to take you to the November 2011 lists for 1. Locomotives
and Kits, 2. Coaches and Kits, 3. Wagons and Kits, 4. Sundries and 5.
Non-British & Collectables.
- Items will be reserved on a first come basis
so send your cheque (payable to The Gauge 0 Guild) to me as soon as you have
identified an item that you require but to arrive no later than Tuesday 15th
November for collection at the Warley (NEC) show. We shall also be attending
the Bristol Show on Jan. 22nd 2012. Reserves for that show must be received
by Tuesday 17th January. Guild members must
quote their membership number and non-members
must include their name and address in the initial email contact.
My address, as always, is at the foot of the E & T Report in GuildNews.
No cheque – No reserve!!
- The SCALE column has either an A
indicating that the item passes through a Peco crossover without
derailing, or it has a figure that is the back-to-back
measurement.
- A higher-resolution picture is available on
request by email but no additional pictures
or information will be sent (basically because there is none)
– if you are interested then reserve it!! However, please bear in mind
that we are not experts (especially myself) on all things so it will be
up to you to decide if the item you require is exactly what you want.
That is why your cheque will not be cashed until you have examined for
yourself.
You MUST endorse the back of the cheque
(payable to The Gauge 0 Guild) with the
letter AND number reference of the item you are reserving. If you are
reserving more than one item please add the costs together and issue just
one cheque.
Because of their delicate nature Buildings
and Signals will only be brought to a show in response to a reservation.
Please state if you are attending on Saturday or Sunday
and ensure that you come to the stand before midday as after that time the
item will be back on the stand for sale. This may seem a hard decision but
we are obliged to do our best for the families on whose behalf we are
working.
Please remember that we DO NOT offer Postal
delivery to the UK
mainland. Collection is now from shows or the Grantham
store or we can arrange to have a Con. Rep or other member of the
management team to bring items to a convenient spot for you to collect
As items are sold they will be removed from the lists.
The next new list will be early February 2012.
