Video of Guildex 2006
The video features footage of all the layouts, plus some video of the AGM and the celebration dinner.
It comes on two DVD's (DVD-R standard unless requested otherwise), in DVD sleeves. Total running time is over 3 hours.
It has been decided that this programme will be offered for sale rather than hire, and the price
has been set at £7.50 including postage.
Chris reminds that the video has not been professionally made, and that all the footage is from
his own camcorder augmented with footage from other member's camcorders, and edited using normal
domestic equipment. Please bear this in mind when comparing the product with the latest Hollywood
blockbuster. Also remember the endeavour was to capture as much as possible of the event, rather
than to make a detailed report on layouts. There is an introduction by Jack Ray, who reminds us
what the situation was 50 years ago, and who celebrates where we have come to today.
Cheques should be made out to The Gauge 0 Guild. In the event that there is a very high demand,
please be patient. Copies are made individually again using Chris's domestic equipment.
The film has been made in wide screen format.
Although VHS is now in decline, and this programme has been mastered directly to DVD, Chris is willing to provide VHS copies
made from the master DVD's. The same price applies.
