On behalf of the area rep. Derek Fox, can I please draw the attention of all members residing within Area 4 to view his request on page 3 of the recent Guild News. In particular Derek would like to hear from members with portable layouts residing in the more outlying parts of the area, ie Isle of Man and Northern Ireland, to consider coming to the event at Gresford in July. We have managed to secure funds to assist with the additional costs involved in travelling to and from Gresford so don't be shy and get in touch with Derek and come and enjoy a great day out.

The Counting of votes in the election of a new Constituency Representative for Area 12 took place today 22nd Jan 2012 at the Bristol Show. The result was Fred Lewis 129 votes, Jeff Rodway 55 votes. The President therefore declared Fred duly elected. |

The 2012 Nottingham show is at the Harvey Hadden sports centre, Bilborough, Nottingham NG8 4PB on Saturday 17 March from 09:30 to 17:30 and Sunday 18 March from 10:00 to 17:00.
There will be 7mm layouts and specialist trade in addition to layouts in 2mm, 3mm, 3.5mm and 4mm scales.
Guild members get a £1 discount off the adult admission price on production of their card. |

'Weydon Road', the Test Track now known as 'Round the end' and Brookford DCC will be on show together with Meteor Models, the Guild Stand and the Bretton Grange Group.
Tea & coffee, with bacon rolls and cake will be available.
